Custom Trips

We at Dragonstar have several suggestions for custom trips for your consideration.

Salida, Colorado

Fly into Colorado Springs, where you take a short ride to Salida and stay at an exclusive Bed and Breakfast.

Day One - take a ride through some of the most spectacular mountain roads you can find in the U.S.  Drive the back roads to Aspen where many shops await you.

Day Two - do something wild, go river rafting, or if that's not for you, go horse back riding or hiking.

Day Three - is open for your enjoyment.

Durango, Colorado

Fly into Durango where several different historic hotels await you.

Day One - take a breath taking ride past Purgatory Ski Resort, over Red Mountain Pass to Ouray.  Out of Durango take Highway 550 past Purgatory over the Molas Divide at 10,910 feet toward Silverton.  Highway 550 from Silverton to Ouray follows the old mine route much of the time and is known as the Million Dollar Highway.  You will cross over Red Mountain Pass at 11,008 feet into Ouray, known as the "Little Switzerland of America."

Day Two - you might take a ride on the Durango-Silverton Narrow Gauge Railway which runs May thru October for a step back in time.

Day Three - open to discovering back roads, shopping, or fishing at the Vallecito Reservoir.

Las Vegas, Nevada

Everyone should see this oasis in the desert at least once.  It is a city that has to be seen to really be experienced.  From the blue waters of Lake Mead to the bright lights of the casinos, enjoy the spectacle that is Vegas.  Plan a stay of a minimum of three days to enjoy everything this city has to offer.

Tail of the Dragon
