Tail of the Dragon

Are you tired of the same old roads around the same old towns and going to the same old places?  Dragonstar has a solution to break the routine, come join one of our trips.

What happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, or so the ads tell you, maybe not, after you return from the Viva Las Vegas trip.  You will want to share what you did with all your friends.  You've got gambling at world class casinos, shopping of every different variety, tanning pool side, or catching the latest show.  You can cruise the strip at night and during the day find numerous nearby attractions.  You can even ride a section of the legendary Route 66 and combine it with a swing through Sedona, Prescott and the mountains on 89A.

On the Canyon Ride take off on your own trip, or ride with the group for a guided experience.  The group ride will take you to Moab, Utah, across Lake Powell to Zion National Park.  Enjoy a stop at a western movie town with an evening cook-out.  Then go through Monument Valley, across the Million Dollar Highway, into Gateway Canyon and back to Grand Junction.

The Great Northern Adventure will take you to the famous Yellowstone National Park and then continue over the Rockies into Idaho.  If you're up for it, head up to Glacier National Park in Montana.

The Breckenridge - Denver trip allows you to experience the Colorado Rockies up close and personal.  Many roads are two lanes with little vehicle traffic to disturb your ride.  Whether you go north to Rocky Mountain National Park, west across the Rockies or south to Royal Gorge, you’re in for a great time.

With the Sturgis trip to the celebrated rally, it doesn’t matter if you go to the rally or to see the many sights, there is something for any rider.  Ride the mountain roads to Mt. Rushmore or see the Crazy Horse Monument being carved out of the mountain.  Visit the Bad Lands or head up to Deadwood.

The Four Corners Rally is one of our favorites, not so much for the rally, but the rides are a biker’s dream.  Whether you go north on 550 to Silverton, across the legendary Million Dollar Highway north to Ouray and cut over to Moab, Utah or run the canyon run west out of Durango, you won't be disappointed.

Street Vibrations has something for almost everyone.  Take a ride up to breath taking Lake Tahoe, hit the casinos or take a ride on a paddle wheeler across the lake.  Continue your ride around the north side of the lake and head through the real Virginia City.  There are many roads to discover around this area whether they’re in El Dorado or Tahoe National Forests.

In September, hit the road before the weather gets bad and come enjoy the Annual Biker Blues and BBQ trip in Arkansas.  This adventure starts in Hot Springs and ends up at the rally in Fayetteville.  Take your time, enjoy the ride and enjoy the music at the rally.

On the Great Smoky Mountains trip you can ride the famous Tail of the Dragon if you dare.  Don’t think the Dragon is the only road available either, there is plenty to discover on the Blue Ridge Parkway too.
